Meet Dr. Bob Bacon, DC

Dr. Bob Bacon

Dr. Bob Bacon received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2003 from the prestigious Life University in Marietta, Georgia. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, with an emphasis in athletic training, from Washington State University in 1999.

Originally from Puyallup, Washington, Dr. Bacon has practiced in the Marietta area since receiving his doctorate degree. In his practice, he strives to help as many families as possible to be and stay well naturally.  Dr. Bacon consistently educates his clients on how to live a life full of energy, vitality, and exceptional health, without sickness and disease. He is committed to providing a loving, compassionate, and supportive environment, which helps his clients not only regain their health and vitality, but to maintain it once achieved. The practice is unique from other chiropractic offices, in that he embraces a total wellness philosophy, incorporating both body and mind functioning optimally in a healthy, sustainable lifestyle.

Dr. Bacon’s expertise with his chiropractic adjustments lies in what he terms his “global assessment.”  For each client, he performs a functional, neurological check of the neck, spine, and extremities (shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, ankles, etc.).  Neurological function or weakness is a telling sign of the need for an adjustment to the affected joint.  In this way, Dr. Bacon has a gift for finding the cause of pain/dysfunction or limited range of motion very quickly and accurately.  With each adjustment, Dr. Bacon demonstrates and explains to the client the improvements to strength and range of motion, ensuring a level of understanding of why the client feels so good following each visit.

Dr. Bacon has received extensive training in Clinical Nutrition, i.e. the use of concentrated foods and herbs to support the body’s critical systems.  His post-graduate continuing education has focused largely on functionally identifying the needs for certain whole-food nutrients and how they relate to the performance of the human organism as a whole.  Using holistic methods, such as Systems Strength Analysis, blood work, saliva testing, and hair analysis, Dr. Bacon identifies and explains to each client the patterns of dysfunction that may be seen, and how these patterns relate to the foods often consumed (or neglected) by the client.  Dr. Bacon is well-versed in a wide range of nutritional supplements that he has found to give profound results by filling the gaps within the typical modern diet.
